
With Pickaway County currently under a Tornado Warning, Westfall Local Schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay today, Wednesday, February 28, 2024. There will be NO AM Preschool.


WHS Band enjoyed a visit from a guest consultant, the highly experienced and talented Brian Stevens. Mr. Stevens has an impressive background in music education and was able to offer beneficial suggestions on how to improve our overall sound. Thank you, Mr. Stevens, for your wonderful guidance!






During the months of April and May, Westfall High School will be administering Ohio's State Tests and Final Exams. Ohio State Tests are a graduation requirement.
All High School (HS) test takers, both In-Person and Online, including those re-testing in a specific area, should arrive at school at their regular time and report to their assigned location by 7:30 AM.
Non-test takers need to arrive two hours after their regular time and then report to 1st period at 9:30 AM. Those HS non-test-taking students who absolutely cannot arrange alternate transportation must report to the auditorium upon regular arrival by 7:30 AM.
Students will not be permitted to be in the hallways during testing. Mrs. Brown is emailing HS students each week regarding their testing locations.




The ACT will be administered to the JUNIOR class on Tuesday, March 12. All Juniors (on-campus, online, or attending Pick-Ross) must arrive at WHS by 7:30 AM for the exam. Grades 9, 10 & 12 will have a Digital Learning Day through Google Classroom to complete daily assignments.


If any student is interested in the field of physical therapy, Ohio University's Division of Physical Therapy is offering virtual presentations to discuss the steps to enter this career at the dates/times listed below:
- Monday, March 18th, 9:30-11:00 am and 1:00-2:30 pm
- Thursday, March 28th, 7:45-9:15 am
- Wednesday, April 3rd, 11:15 am-12:45 pm
- Friday, April 5th, 3:00-5:00 pm

The Chess Team finished the regular season 6-1, defeating Franklin High School yesterday 5-0. Ryan Haney led with two big wins to help the team clinch the top spot in the division. The team is ranked 2nd in the eSports Ohio-OHSAA league and will move on to the state tournament.

Westfall will be playing a home boys basketball game against Piketon tomorrow 7pm. This is an OHSAA tournament game. Season passes cannot be honored. Adult tickets are $8, student tickets are $5. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or OHSAA.org/tickets. Click on basketball, the basketball-boys, and then search Westfall. Doors will open at 6:15.

Take a journey to the past as Westfall High School presents Anastasia: the Musical. Performances are March 15 at 7:30 PM, March 16 at 7:30 PM, and March 17 at 2:30 PM. Stay tuned - tickets will be available online starting March 1.


The Chess Team defeated Reynoldsburg with a score of 3-2. The team is ranked 1st in the state with an overall record of 5-1. The team will face off against Franklin City Schools for the final regular season match before the state tournament.
The Fortnite Team finished with a Victory Royale for first place this week. The team was led by Freshman Landen Yang, who clinched the final elimination for the win.

Pickaway County school districts recently met with local law enforcement and other agencies regarding potential safety concerns surrounding a rare total solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, 2024.
Following the guidance of these agencies, Westfall Local School District will be CLOSED on Monday, April 8, 2024, due to our proximity to the total solar eclipse path.
We understand that this change may impact families' scheduling plans; however, our top priority is always the safety and well-being of our students.


Ms. T's Community Service class has been working hard making tied fleece blankets for Nationwide Children's Hospital this week! Great leaders doing service for others! Way to go, Mustangs!
